AMAVI is pleased to highlight a significant development in the WiFi sensing space: portfolio company nami has acquired a 47% equity stake in Aerial, formalising a long-term strategic cooperation between the two companies. As part of this deepened partnership, Jean‑Eudes Leroy, co-founder and CEO of nami, has been appointed CEO of Aerial AI to lead the company through its next phase of growth.
"We are excited to bring non-invasive, cost-effective solutions to real-world problems—from making homes safer for aging parents and families to augmenting building intelligence," said Jean-Eudes Leroy. "Together, nami and Aerial offer a portfolio of 73 filed and pending patents in RF sensing, AI sensing algorithms, and intelligent mesh architectures — positioning us as a substantial platform to augment the next wave of AI-powered IoT."
The collaboration is centered on helping older adults remain safely in their homes, with trial programs launching in Q3 2025 in Spain, the Benelux region, the U.S., Japan, and Singapore. Beyond this, the joint strategy includes advancements in home monitoring, security, safety, and energy-efficient climate control — providing Telecom and PropTech companies with tools to create more intelligent and secure living spaces.
This development aligns closely with AMAVI’s belief in consolidation and embedded technologies that create intelligence in the built world. Aerial and nami’s deepened collaboration represents a strong step toward passive sensing becoming a foundational layer of tomorrow’s real estate and care infrastructure.
